Sorry for no updates. The class is a mess after winter break. All we did was getin "track" by not doing anything. Well, it was fun when it last. Because it is Monday, we had to do a sketch-up so here is the jpeg of it: (isn't it nice, my awesome skills)

So today is Wednesday so it is Wednesday CHallenge day. Our challenge was to cut a piece of cardboard in to one foot by one foot. Hope we win.

So for today, Dr. Neato told us who won the Wednesday Challenge (we didn't win). For the rest of the class, we just worked on our website and updated it. I'm pretty confused of how I do my website so I have to work on trying to get someone to help me. Hope I do.

We jsut catched up on most of our work as usual.

We started working on our cardboard cars. Dr. Neato said we are going to race with them so I'm pretty excited. The other cool part about this project is that the whole thing is made out of recycled material, well except for the plastic straw and the wood. I'm in the process right now just cutting the peices to size. Everyone makes one car making it definitly a competetion, a fun competition. I also thought of making it like this, so here is the picture.

So today was Wednesday, making it Wednesday Challenge day. So for this wednesday challenge, we had to make n idea for "toys" we are going to give out in the robotics competiition. Our don't think our idea is good. It isn;t portable which is the key of making a product for this challenge.

So today we discussed the ideas for our competition. Then we just worked on our website until the bell rang for lunch.

Wednesday Challenge: Gifts

So for today, we chosed whos product will be the final product for the competition. After, Dr. Neato told us to update our website and if we need help we can go the the back. However, I donn't need help. Ha ha ha.

We just worked on our car or we just either worked on our websites. I worked on my website.

Today I had to work on the car as well as well as the website. I am rushing so badly. Hope this is good.

We did a sketch-up challenge today. We had to get seven jenga blocks and make a structure. The point was to make the tower of jenga, take a picture, and the make an exact model of it on sketch-up. However, the person you used this computer last time updated the sketch-up to the year 2016. IN conclusion, I couldn't make the sketch-up today but I promised Dr. Neato that I will do it tomorrow.

So today I just fixed the minor problem on the wheel of my cardboard car. After I just catched up on my website and things I have to get done, like the sketch-up I couldn't do. HopI can overcone the problem.

So today was Wednesday Challenge Day. We continued the gifts for the robotics competition. Our plan was to make a whistle that is shaped like a castle and that also has a keycahin. It will be made out of wood. Hope we win. The best part is that the whistle was my idea. Yay for me!

So today was our car competition. My car is so bad. I am pretty embrassed. Well, I hope atleast I dont get in last place. Crossing my fingers.

It was our car competition again for we didn't finsh the third round on Thursday. The race took longer than I expected which is a good thing as well as a bad thing. I defintely know that I won't be in first place. I'm curios who will be thw winner. Hope, I'm not the worst out of all the cars.

I'm so happy that yesterday, Monday, we had no school. It gave me aa break. Well, know I have to start working my butt of today. I have so much work, especially for spanish, that I have to study and catch-up on. Suprisingly, we had a subsitute teacher today. He was also my sub for my math class I think. With that all said, we got our grades back as well as our Wednesday Challenge scores. I got an A plus for my school gradde but I scored pretty low on the Wednesdat Challenge. After, we just worked on our website as well as catched up on our wednesdat challenge forms. Hope I do well.

So today was our Wednesday Challenge Day. Our challenge was to think of a way to fix the door problem. We thought of an idea of a cabinet mechanism or a magnet.

We watched a video today about gravitational pull. Dr. Neato's wife worked in the project that the video was showing so it is pretty cool to think that she helped make this amzond discovry. I actually hope I can make a difference in the world like his wife.

We were going to work on our whistle but Dr. Neato wanted to talk about Leron's project. However, the problem was that the boys kept interupting him so we just literally sat in class for an hour doing nothing.

So today we worked on our whistle instead of doing the Wednesday Challenge for Mr. Miller came. However, we completly failed on makiing the whislte. Hope we don't fail next time.

So today we finished making the whistle. Thanks to Connor we finally made it and it works really well. It looks and sounds pretty cool so I'm prety sure we'll win the challenge. (Hope we do. Crossing my fingers.)

We had a guest speaker today. Tyler Martinez was his name. It is amazing how he was a former student at CV. He works for the HL. He told us about his job and how he does his job as well as how Dr. Neato's class helped him with his job.

So for today we worked on our website. I just updated my website and I feel pretty happy that it's updated. Then, we had a conversation about how we can predict our score for our next car race. Hope my team is smart to do this. And as always, crossing my fingers.

So today I worked on my sketch-up for my car. Hope I make it as I wanted to make it.

So we had a subsitute today. So we just worked on our skecth-up (which I finished) and I just updated my website.

We went over the cost and plan to make our whistle. Hope we can make it all by 2 weeks. Crossing my fingers.

We went to the workshop again to make the whistle. We cut the bigger wood to the correct size as well as for the little pieces too. We also sanded th little pieces to fit it the hole that we are going to drill in the bigger whistle. Hope Mr. Miller comes next Monday I want to finish this project quickly.

Dr. Neato talked about our grades for our website. Thank goodness that my grade is good. I tried my best to update all the days. Aftar that, we just worked on our website and just updated it. I also put a video of the stronghold video on my website thanks to Moses. However, today Mr. Miller did;t come today which s pretty sad. I wanted him to come so I can cathc up on the project. Oh well, I can just update my website which I did.

Sorry for the no update but I had to do the handout and finish it. (Just letting you know.)

Yeah! We finally finished the handout project. We made at least 72 working whistles. Dr. Neato was impressed thankfully. We also started our Wednesday Challenge for the quater grade so that's new. I hope we do a good job and cross my fingers if we win. That'll be great!

So the handouts have been sent to the competition. Dr. Neato talked about the wednesday challenge and we are working on it today. So I will be working on the presentation, updating my website, writting and finishing the handout form, and more. Hope I make it out alive. -_-

So today we had a subsitute today. He is the same sub that we always have for robotics. However, we have to finsih our Wednesday Challenge project which I don't want to do. I feel like I'm doing all the work but I'm not. I am so busy today. I have so much work to do so hope I can make it alive today without dying of stress and work.

In the begining in the class the robotics people told what happened in the competition. It was sad cause they didn't make it and no one choosed them to play with them to the platoffs. However, they said that they had fun and at least they had a good time. After, all the talk about the robotics we worked on our big wednesday challenge.

We made the final product. I was pretty good at cutting the box out. Here is the picture of the inside of the box and taped:

So today I just worked on our websites cause Dr. Neato is going to check our websites by this week. I'm so tired. I wish I can sleep right now or eat something cause I'm so tired and hungry. Uhhhhh! For someone reason I smelll food in robotics. I am getting to hungry! Oh well! Have to wait till the lunch bell rings for me to eat. I'm soooooooooooo hungry. ;)

I'm bsck from my spring break. My spring break was great because I got to relax and wakeup till 11:00am. It was pretty good. Also, Dr.Neato wanted us to post a picture on what we did over spring break. I went to Isabella Springs in Palm Spring and had a very spa like, relaxing day. So here's the picture:

So we had a Wednesday Challenge of calculating how many skateboards we can make in a 5 foot by 5 foot wood board. We calculated to be that only 2 skateboards can be made out of the wooden board.

So I worked on my sketch-up for the car for the skateboard. (Hope that makes sense) In the end, my goal is to make a good sketch-up of the car.

So tosay we had a sub. THe same old sub that can not say my name correctly. Oh well. So I just worked on my skecth-up of the car and I am stressed. I can't get it to work. Hope I can finish it.

I finally finished the sketch-up. It was hard work and alot of effort. Now I can finally make a skateboard! I'm so excited. Here is a picture of the sketch-up of the car:

So I finalyy got approved by Dr. Neato for making a skateboard. Dr. Neato recomened me to make a longboard so I'm going to make one. I hope I can make it as nice as the other skateboards. Wish me luck. Also, the picture of my car for the sketch-up didn't come out as it should be and I can't fix it (I even asked Cole to help bu he didn't know) so I just took of the sketch-up to show you the true skecth that I did.

So today we did our Wenesday Challenge. I feel like we are not going to win. But hope we do!

So we catched up on our Wednesday Challenge that we didn't finish and we lost. Oh well. It was our fault for Roy had a different idea than Conner and Yatra. At least we tried our best. After I just worked on websites and we also opened our Potato Chip Challenge box which I'll update on Friday.

We worked on our own projects and own websutes to catch up. I heard that Dr. Neato is going to check websites this weekend so I updated most of the things needed for my website.

So today is block schedule so I'm trying to finish everything by today. I finally finished my skatebaord sketch-up.

4/13/16 Wednesday

So today was Wednesday Challenge. My group members were Will, Yatra, and Roy. I finally won a wednesday challenge and it envolved alot of math. Hope that makes sense cause the wednesday chalenge was all about calculations.

So today was again a ketchup day. I tried to update my website but Dr. Neato told me to stay with Hunter. So I learned how to glue cardboard to each other as well as how to compress the cardbaord so it can dry hard and strong(like how it is when you really make a skatebaord with wood). LOL. Well, hope the website is updated enough.

I updated my website and then I just worked on my skateboard. I plan to belp other people with their skatebaord, hope that it works out. Overall, I'm so excited to start my skateboard. I already plan to buy some wheels and trucks for my longbaord.

The same problem wih the sketch-up with the car happended. So I'm just going to show youa picture of the real sketch-up.

We watched a video for half an hour than we started our challenge. The video was pretty cool. It was about life outside of our earth. It is also a topic I'm curious about too. Is there life other than earth? Well, it'll take a long time till anyone figures that out. So after the video, we started our wednesday challenge which was: What message will you send to life other than earth? We figured that we will send a video of our earth and what we do in a normal life (this does not include wars or bad actions bu a peacful and loving interaction with others). Hope we win.

My cardbaord skateboard finally finished! It looks really nice. So now, all I have to do is trace and cut. After that's done, I can finally make a real skatebaord(made of wood), yeah! After, I just updated my website. Probably should finish my homework for Critical reading. Also, I have to help other people with their cardboard skateboard which I am happy to help.;)

So I helped other people with their skateboard and I finally cut my cardbaord skateboard. The cut that I did wasn't perfect but it's still pretty nice.

So today, all I did was help out other people for their cardboard skateboard which is find. I help Yatra and Lyron out. However, we didn't finish cutting the four pieces of cardbaord so we have to do this again on Thursday. Hope I can drill holes on y cardboard skateboard to put trucks and wheels on it.

Today was Wednesday Challenge day. We had to be blinfolded can make/build a crate out of pvc pipes with instructions from our partner. Hope we win fifth period for this challenge. Alos, thankfully while we were doing the challenge I finally updated my website. Yeah!

So today I helped my friends with their skateboard. I helped Yatra, Will, and Lyron with their skateboard with cutting and gluing.

So today I helped out the same people with their skateboard. Period five messed up their boards so I feel bad for them. Well, Dr. Neato worked it out so that so I'm happy aboout that. I was also busy updating my website and trying to finish my tutor critical reading homework.

So I think I helped out the people with skateboards this day.(I totally forgot) Hope this entry is right.

Today I finsihed making the cardboard skateboard with wheels and trucks. I finally completed the process of making a cardbaord skateboard and now I'm going to start on the real deal(making a real skateboard with wood). For some reason, I'm pretty excited. I also measured the distance the of the skateboard if it went straight or not. It did go a liitle of but Dr. Neato said that I passes so, yeah! (the score:13.3)

Like always, today was Wednesday CHallenge Day. Yeah!(Not really) I think my group did pretty well and thanks to Royand I, we had all the basis to make a good agrument for our idea. Hope we win.

So today I just update my website and helped Devon calculated his average for how straight his skateboard goes. That is it.

I worked on my skateboard as usuall

So today I cut the wood slices to the desired length of my board. Sadly we couldn't glue it today for we did not have an time.

Finally I glued the wood peices together adn we pressed it in a hydraulic press. The awkward and funny part of the pressing scene was that everyone was wathching me struggle to pull down the handle but thankfully they happily cheered me on. Ha ha! #life

Today was Wednesday Challenge. I'm just going to make this entry sweet and short by just telling you the prompt:Each group has to make a boat that can hold a mass at about 5 to more minutes. Also, the heavier the mass is and it holds till 5 minutes they are the winner. However, we lost.

So I told Dr. Neato that I'm going to update my website today. Thankfully, I finsihed all the entries so I am very proud (I also had time to spare so I'll be finishing my spanish homework)

Today was a very sad day. I had to restart my board cause it was bent. Thankfully the bent board had a use to some one else but I put so my hard work on it. However, it's okay. I'm still excited to be making a perfect skateboard later on. Hope it works.

Finally updating in a while. Now I am a 10th grader. It seems and it is a big change. (Well for me it is.) It was a hassle trying to get my website back on the web so I'm finally thankful that I can today. My birthday is coming up in about 3 weeks so I'm also excited for that. One thing that is sad, is progress reports are going out today and because it's our first, all my teachers didn't put all the grades in making my grades low. Huhhhh! Hope I do good this year and I will be updating my website cause it's pretty fun.
